What is a Needham? A Needham is a traditional Maine candy with a coconut and potato filling covered in dark chocolate. The potato in the filling provides a rich texture unlike any other candy bar. Needhams were first created in the early 1870’s by candy-maker John Seavey and have become a favorite Maine treat.
